May 23rd, 2011 - Rock N Roll Books Debuts Authorized Queen 'Bohemian Rhapsodies' Book Cover Art
For Immediate Release:
Rock N Roll Books/SCB Distributors, who earlier this year acquired retail rights to ‘Bohemian Rhapsodies: True and Authorized Tales by Queen Fans and Celebrities,’ is excited to announce the official debut of the book’s cover art at the 2011 annual Book Expo of America in New York City, NY. Designed by poster artist John Warner (Phish, Citizen Cope), the illustrated cover celebrates the classic Queen.
Compiled by Robyn Dunford, edited by Robyn Dunford and Kelly Franko, and ‘officially authorized’ by QUEEN's camp, the book will feature loads of exclusive commentary from those closest to the band's late singer, Freddie Mercury, including his longtime personal assistant, Peter Freestone, alongside contributions from rock and metal peers of the four legends comprising QUEEN, Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon — recounting both funny, personalized stories they experienced first-hand playing alongside the legendary frontman and formidable musicians, and how, in many cases, the band influenced them in their own artistry. From the fan side, readers will be treated to many intimate stories from lifelong fans of Freddie's and QUEEN who were touched personally by the members of the band in one way or another, whether by their music or the fan’s personal relationships with the band. Rock N Roll Books is also teaming with compiler/author Robyn Dunford to donate a substantial portion of the book's proceeds to the Mercury Phoenix Trust upon publication. Visit Rocknrollbooks.com for updates as the release date approaches, or check us out at www.twitter.com/rocknrollbooks or www.facebook.com/rocknrollbooks.

January 20th, 2011 - Antimusic.com review of 'Jane's Addiction: in the Studio'
"A pretty good history of the band based on personal interviews with behind-the-scenes folks like producers Dave Jerden and Bob Ezrin and...interviews that band members gave over the years...The story begins when the band was still called PSI Com and surprisingly comes through right to the present day, complete with...details of the sessions for the possible release of a new Jane's studio album in 2011. Also includes chapters about Porno for Pyros and Perry Farrell's live-event brainchild, Lollapalooza."
